Jürgen Schulze EDMA President

Dr. Jürgen Schulze became a board member of EDMA in 2003 and was elected as the Association's President in 2009. He is the CEO and President of SYSMEX EMEA after having held several other positions in SYSMEX since 1995. Dr. Schulze has also been on the board of the German National Association VDGH since 1997 and has been elected President from 2007 to 2009. Prior to joining Sysmex, he has held several business functions in the IVD industry, mainly linked to Merck AG and Bayer Diagnostics, both in Europe and the USA. |

Vicky Voulgaraki is Director for EU Government Affairs for Thermo Fisher Scientific. She joined the company's corporate team in 2010 and represents Thermo Fischer Scientific's businesses at the EU institutions and state governments. Vicky previously worked for the UK Permanent Representation to the EU, where she served as a political attaché in the Political and Institutional Affairs Unit and was instrumental in the activities of the UK Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2005. She then joined Edelman, the world's largest public relations firm, as an Account Director, advising clients on food, environment, health, safety, tourism and intellectual property issues. For two years she seved as the Secretary General of the Toy Industries of Europe and orchestrated the industry's advocacy campaign on the revision of the Toy Safety Directive in Brussels and 12 Member States. Vicky is also the Vice Chair of the Innovation Task Force of the British Chamber of Commerce.
